Going Dutch in Wales: a New Translation Pair at Swansea University

by The Low Countries 31. March 2009 09:41

The Association of Low Countries Studies has notified us that from 2009/10, Swansea University will offer Dutch-English and vice versa as a new translation pair in its MA Translation with Language Technology. Started in 2000, the Swansea MA in Translation with Language Technology is a well-established programme that is updated every year to incorporate the latest developments. The programme grew out of the observation that professional translators can no longer expect to get a significant amount of work unless they are experienced users of Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.

The application deadline for bursaries is July, 24 and further information can be found here.
