Just as a reminder: the Theo van Doesburg-exhibition we informed you about earlier moved from Leiden to Tate Modern in London last Thursday. In Van Doesburg and the International Avant-Garde this Dutch artist, co-founder of the De Stijl-movement and one of the biggest names in early twentieth-century art, is put in the context of the international avant-garde movement of the 1920s. A skilled and influential artist as well as a handy networker, Van Doesburg managed to build up a long contact list that helped his art and his artistic views spread through Europe.

Reviews
